Bromakil Pellet Bait for Rats and Mice

Active Ingredient: Bromadiolone @ 0.05g/kg

Bromakil Pellet Bait is a ready-to-use pellet bait for controlling rats & mice in and around industrial, commercial, agricultural, and domestic buildings. Bromakil Pellet Bait is a professional-grade rodenticide, formulated with bromadiolone at a concentration of 0.05g/kg.

Bromakil Pellet Baits should be placed in measured quantities in suitable containers (e.g. bait trays). They need to be placed under cover, protected from water if possible. For optimal results, alternative food sources should be eliminated. Inspect the baits daily and replenish them until no more baits are taken. This is typically achieved in two weeks. Bait stations should not be further apart than 3 metres for mice control and 9 metres for rats. Do not place the baits in the open or in locations that are accessible to other animals or birds. Bromadiolone baits are hazardous to pigs, cats, dogs and poultry. Bromakil Pellet Baits must not be allowed to contaminate foodstuffs or food intended for human or animal consumption and must not be applied to crops.

Bromadiolone baits such as Bromakil Pellet Bait are effective rodenticides because they are potent anticoagulants that disrupt blood clotting, causing fatal internal bleeding in rodents. They have a delayed effect, allowing rodents to consume multiple doses before death, reducing bait shyness. Bromadiolone is highly toxic to rodents, requiring small amounts, and its slow metabolism ensures prolonged exposure. It’s also palatable, increasing bait acceptance, and effective against a wide range of rodent species.

Bromakil Pellet Bait offer several advantages over block or liquid baits:

  • Ease of Use: Pellets are small, easy to distribute, and fit into tight spaces where rodents frequent.
  • Palatability: Pellets often mimic natural food sources, increasing acceptance by rodents.
  • Versatility: Suitable for various bait stations and environments, indoors or outdoors.
  • Controlled Dosing: Pellets allow consistent active ingredient distribution, reducing over- or under-dosing risks.
  • Less Mess: Unlike liquid baits, pellets don’t spill or leak, minimising environmental contamination.
  • Storage and Handling: Pellets are easier to store and handle than bulky blocks or liquid containers.
  • Reduced Bait Shyness: Smaller size encourages multiple feedings, enhancing efficacy compared to larger blocks

Bromakil Pellet Bait can be used where pests occur around agricultural, industrial, commercial, and domestic buildings, as well as grain storage facilities, sheds, and other similar areas.

DO NOT place bait stations outdoors for control of mice.
DO NOT use in areas accessible to non-target animals, pets or children unless secured in a tamper resistant bait station.
DO NOT place bait outdoors unless it is secured in a tamper-resistant and weather-resistant bait station which is secured in place.
DO NOT place bait stations more than 2 meters from buildings.
DO NOT apply this product directly into burrows.
DO NOT use the product continuously for more than 35 days without an evaluation of the state of the infestation and of the efficacy of the treatment.

Hazardous to wildlife. Search for and dispose of dead rodents and slugs/snails in the infested area at each visit to prevent secondary poisoning. In case slugs/snails are present, move bait station to another location within the rodent infested site, away from slugs/snails. Dispose of slugs/snails, dead rodents and uneaten bait in compliance with local, state or territory government regulations.

When using the product wear disposable gloves. During cleanup and disposal operations of bait and bait stations, wear disposable gloves. Wear disposable gloves when handling rodent carcasses. Wash clothes after performing re-handling activities.
