AC Backrub Paraffin Oil is for use as backrub carrier oil to be used with a registered buffalo fly treatment.

The AC Backrub Paraffin Oil carrier allows the oil/chemical mix or organic solution to be evenly distributed as cattle rub themselves against the backrub.

AC Backrub Paraffin Oil is specially formulated for use on backrubs as a carrier only. A registered buffalo fly control product must be added for effective fly control.

Tips For Use
Application – Self Feeding and Plain Backrubs

Pre-soak backrub in a solution of AC Backrub Paraffin Oil and chemical or Cattle Coat in a container (ie Drum, tub, or bin) for at least 4 hours.
Hang the backrub over the container to drain the excess solution for at least 10 hours.
When re-bottling the excess solution strain through shade cloth to prevent blockage in the self-feeder mechanism (applicable to self-feeding backrubs only)

The Self Feeding AC Backrub is a tool to apply a fly control solution to livestock.

The AC Backrubs need to be pre-soaked with a fly control solution of your choice prior to use. AC Backrubs are high-quality backrubs suitable for cattle and horses. They are manufactured from jute, continuous nylon braided netting and HD 6mm galvanised chain.

Stock will treat themselves on demand resulting in effective control of buffalo fly and saving labour costs. Self Feeding Backrubs are available in 1, 2 & 3-metre sizes.

Baycox Cattle & Piglet is for the treatment and prevention of coccidiosis in cattle up to 9 months caused by Eimeria bovis or Eimeria zuernii. Coccidiosis typically occurs in cattle less than a year old causing diarrhoea which is often blood stained. Recently weaned calves are particularly susceptible to outbreaks of clinical disease. One dose is effective because it attacks all stages of the parasite in the animal.
Metaphylactic treatment of cattle & Piglets as soon as clinical signs of disease are seen will reduce the impact of an outbreak by preventing further intestinal damage in affected animals. This treatment approach will also prevent non affected animals from developing diarrhoea. To obtain maximum benefit on farms with a history of coccidiosis, the product needs to be given approximately 1 week prior to the expected onset of clinical signs. Treatment of newly weaned calves at the time of meal withdrawal will control coccidiosis associated with weaning.

This castrator is best used on cattle, sheep and goats ranging in weight from 120kg to 250kg.
The application of the ring is quick and efficient, by expanding the ring with an applicator and placing over scrotum.
The applicator is made of stainless steel and ring opens to 10cm x 7.5cm x 7.5cm.
A silicon spray or lubricant should be used on arm to allow the tool to open/close.
Always wear protective glasses when using banders.
A tetanus toxoid injection is strongly recommended.
