About The Ingredients

Hemp Hulls and Hearts are an excellent source of-quality protein (20%) which supports muscle function, and other important body functions. It also contains a superior amino acid profile with 9 essential amino acids required for protein production. Essential amino acids are not made by horses but are vital for their health especially for the building, fuelling, recovery of muscles after exercise, and building topline.

 

Hemp Hulls and Hearts contain 10% to 20% oil, mostly in the form of essential fatty acids which support joint and immune system function.

 

Hemp Hulls and Hearts are low in sugar and starch with useful levels of digestible fibre (approx. 30%), favourable for a high fibre, low sugar and starch diets. It can safely be fed to all horses including those with grain intolerances or metabolic issues.

 

Hemp Hulls and Hearts also contain antioxidants in the form of Vitamin E plus magnesium, zinc, phosphorus, and calcium. They are Australian grown and processed and GMO free.

 

 

MSM (Methylsulphonylmethane) is a natural form of sulfur that supports normal inflammation, connective tissue, cartilage, bones, and hooves. It is an important addition to any horse’s diet. MSM also supports normal skin and coat due to its role in keratin formation.

 

MSM is suitable for horses in heavy work, are older, have arthritis or have poor hoof condition.

 

Turmeric Alleppey and Black Pepper Curcuma longa (Alleppey), is a traditional type of turmeric commonly used in cooking, foodstuffs, cosmetics, and medicine. It may support normal inflammation and skin conditions.

 

It is suggested that curcumin is treated as a foreign substance by the liver, therefore rapidly metabolised and excreted. Piperine in black pepper iis reported to block curcumin excretion by the liver support normal increasing curcumin bioavailability.

 

Troy Repel-X Insecticidal and Repellent Spray stops fleas and flies mid-flight, and prevents attacks from flies, mosquitoes and other biting insects. It is suitable for use on horses, dogs, cattle, pigs and also as a repellent spray in animal sheds and other places where insects settle.

Troy Vitamin B-Complex helps animals who have a Vitamin B deficiency. It can be administered through basic injection (intramuscular) or through a drip (Intravenous injection). Before applying brush coat to remove excess dirt or dust. Apply to the hair coat using the spray nozzle or a cloth dampened with Vetsense Flygon GOLD Insecticidal and Repellent Spray. Do not wet skin or apply to point of dripping or exceed 60 mL per application. Only light application is required.

It is best to apply by rubbing against the hair growth. Give special attention to the legs, shoulders, neck, and facial area where flies are most often seen.

For best results, reapply every other day. Also, reapply each time the horse is washed or exposed to heavy rain. Apply on a small area first as some animals may have sensitive skin. Avoid getting the spray in the animal’s eyes, nose, and mouth.

For animal housing, spray the inner walls thoroughly and any other place where flies and insects settle. Re-spray as necessary. Do not apply directly to food or food preparation areas.

Concentrated Oral Electrolyte Solution for Horses.Aids in maintaining and restoring normal electrolyte balance in body tissues due to strenuous exercise and sweat loss during training, racing, competition, travelling, and hot weather conditions.

Directions for Use

Always make available a plentiful supply of clean fresh drinking water following consumption of Vetsense Rehydrate.

The concentrate can be administered by oral syringe over the back of the tongue, with immediate access to clean, fresh drinking water, or can be diluted with clean fresh water.

Special Dose Rates

Severely dehydrated horses: 6 to 8L of diluted solution ( 40mL REHYDRATE per litre of water).

Endurance exercise: 60 to 80 mL by oral syringe over the tongue, immediately followed by water.

Travelling horses: 40 to 60mL over the tongue with water on hot weather or long distances, 30 to 60 minutes before travelling. Repeat every 2 hours, and again on arrival.

The use of this product prior to racing will not elevate plasma bicarbonate levels and therefore will not contravene the rules of racing.

Vetsense B-Complex Powder is an oral supplement for animals under stress or heavy work situations.

Description

Recommended For

Combined Active-Passive Protection: Equivac T can be administered simultaneously with Equivac TAT. Side Effects

Localised swelling may develop at the site of injection and a firm nodular lump may persist for some weeks or even months. There may be temporary lameness. Allergic reactions such as anaphylaxis occur rarely with all vaccines and may require appropriate treatment.
