Terramycin Pinkeye Aerosol contains oxytetracycline hydrochloride in a non-CFC propellant.
A broad spectrum antibiotic for treatment of eye infections of animals and in particular pinkeye conditions in cattle and sheep. Terramycin is effective against Moraxella bovis and Rickettsia conjunctivae and has activity against a wide range of secondary invaders including Mycoplasma conjunctivae.

This unusual all-plastic trocar can be used for emergency bloat. The 10mm bore ensures quick relief of pressure. The whole trocar is punched through the hide, as for usual emergency treatment, and then screwed down until the cannula top is flush on the hide. The trocar is then pulled out allowing the rumen gas and foam to escape. The benefit of this device is that the cannula thread maintains alignment of the rumen against the peritoneum, reducing internal contamination and associated trauma.

Vytrate Sachets when reconstituted as directed provide an oral rehydration therapy containing a balanced mixture of glucose, glycine and electrolytes with the added advantage of being a non-antibiotic oral supportive treatment. Once diluted Vy'trate Solution is isotonic, ensuring glucose and glycine are actively absorbed by the intestinal tract, causing water and sodium to be absorbed simultaneously with these nutrients and resulting in a high degree of rehydration in scouring and dehydrated animals. Where specific disease control (i.e. antibiotic therapy) is indicated, it can be administered in conjunction with Vytrate Solution.

Ultravac 5in1 is used to prevent the major life threatening clostridial diseases that commonly occur in cattle and sheep.
RECOMMENDATIONS FOR USE
For the prevention of:
enterotoxaemia (pulpy kidney disease),
tetanus,
black disease,
malignant oedema (blackleg-like disease), including swelled head in rams and
blackleg in cattle and sheep.

Can be used for up to 30 days after opening (provided storage instructions are followed). This provides added convenience as this longevity enables the vaccine to easily fit in with farm management practices.
Has an ultrafiltered low volume dose. The recommended dose is 2 mL for cattle and 1mL for sheep. This means less fridge space is required and fewer vaccine bottle changes are needed when vaccinating large numbers of stock.
Ultravac 5in1 is also safe for all stages of pregnancy.

DOSAGE
A booster dose given 12 months after the two basic doses of vaccine should confer lifelong immunity against blackleg and tetanus. However, further annual boosters are required to maintain immunity against black disease and malignant oedema.

More regular doses may be required to maintain immunity against enterotoxaemia (pulpy kidney). These are best given prior to seasonal challenge and advice from your local veterinarian is recommended.

Annual booster doses should be given around four weeks before calving or lambing to ensure that passive immunity is passed onto the new-born calf or lamb via the colostrum (first milk).
