Peters Energy Block with Dried Mealworms is not only a tasty treat, it’s a high-energy supplement to help keep your chickens healthy and happy. Wholesome grains and seeds and dried mealworms are blended with Australian beef tallow for a healthy, flavour-filled treat. The high energy and linoleic acid content in Peters Energy Blocks may help to improve egg size and production in backyard laying hens.
Peters Energy Blocks may also be beneficial when feed intake decreases during hot weather as tallow has a lower heating effect on a bird’s metabolism than carbohydrate based feeds.

Feeding recommendations
Feed Peters Energy Block as a supplement to your chickens’ main diet. To feed, simply remove the lid and place the pack on the floor of the henhouse and allow your flock to feed ad lib. Alternatively, the block can be cut into four (4) pieces and one smaller piece fed daily to three hens.
